What if, instead of God sending three wise men at our Savior's birth, He had sent three wise women? - They would have stopped to ask for directions.
- They would have been on time.
- They would have prepared the stable.
- They would have helped deliver the baby.
- They would have made a casserole.
- And they would have brought diapers as a gift rather than perfume.
"But the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David, a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord'"(Luke 2:10,11). MERRY CHRISTMAS ~ LOVE YOU MUCH!

CHRISTMAS "An old pioneer traveled westward across the great plains until he came to an abrupt halt at the edge of the Grand Canyon. He gawked at the sight before him: a vast chasm one mile down, 18 miles across, and more than 100 miles long! He gasped, 'Something musta happened here!'
"A visitor to our world at Christmastime, seeing the lights, decorations, trees, parades, festivities and religious services, also probably would say,'Something must have happened here!' Indeed, something did happen. God came to our world on the first Christmas" (James S. Hewett, Illustrations Unlimited). Merry Christmas From All of Us To All Of YouBishop James I Feel God Brown

Christian Politics: Father, Why Is This Night Different From All Other Nights?
By Bishop James I Feel God Brown
I have just learned that the citizens of the United States of America, have elected Barack Obama to be President of the republic.
Tears remain in my eyes even though I had started to write this letter more than a week ago. I knew the significance that this event would hold, not only for me but for black men and women across the country.
I found it hard to sleep last night. It felt like Christmas Eve when I was still a child. I would believe there would be a new present but I almost held my breath for fear that I could do something to mess it up at the last moment.
Yes, tonight is a night like no other!
The best-known quote from the Jewish Passover ceremony is, "Why is this night different from all other nights?" This line is usually recited by the youngest person at the table (or at least, the youngest person capable of reciting it). It is meant to express the child's confusion at why everything felt different and special.
For those who do not know, Passover (or Pesach) is the remembrance of the night when God caused the death angel to passover the first born of every household where the children of Israel obediently stayed and yet killed the first born of their oppressors as the final step to their freedom from slavery.
A 15 part meal, called the seder, is the central item in the remembrance, yet it is different from any regular meal that an observant Jew would eat, even to this day.
So it is for me tonight, as a black American. There is much that seems familiar about this election night but I clearly realize that I am living in a significance that cannot be ignored.
During the seder a vegetable is dipped in bitter salt water to cause everyone to remember the bitterness of the bondage that their ancestors had endured at the hand of the Egyptians. Even while the oppression is remembered, there is no need to hate the Egyptians. Nonetheless, there is a need to never forget the reality of the pain that God had delivered them from.
So it is on tonight, I remember the pain of the middle passage and the bitter whip of slavery on my ancestors.
I remember, the degradation and humiliation that always comes with bondage.
I remember, .... the deaths in Bombingham, .... the deaths of the freedom riders, .... the deaths of Emmit Till and untold others at the hangin tree. .... the deaths of Martin, Fred Hampton, Malcom, and Medgar
I remember, .... the lies that I was told .... the lies have told my children, .... the lies which I no longer have to tell, .... the lies that were promised but until tonight had never been fulfilled
Lies that were not told to hurt children but which like Santa Claus would lead them to wonder what else had we lied about.
Lies that when the truth was revealed caused them to wallow in a futility that helped spawn crime, drug abuse, prostitution, promiscuity, and self hatred among our generations.
You see tonight is different than every other. My children and grand-children CAN indeed become President of the United States.
As during the seder, tonight I can wash my hands of this ugly chapter of my life even while I remind my linage of their responsibility to make a real difference. Their responsibility to live a life that proves they were worth the suffering that gave them their opportunity.
Yes, tonight is like no other night because the sweetness of the charoset made with sweet apple, nuts, and sweet wine, will give a sweetness to my mouth and strength to run on in my limbs, knowing that we can accomplish even more.
This is the strength that comes from the knowledge that my offspring, the offspring of Kunta Kinte, and all those who suffered can become the generations that bring the blessing to their environments and societies.
Yes, this night is different from all others, because I could not be deterred by the propaganda of those whose political bent had been wrapped around a few scriptures as reason to oppose this Godly mandate.
No, after years as a Republican, following the politics of a religious fervor generated by fear, I did not HATE MYSELF so much as to oppose this call from death to life for an entire race of people.
Tonight is a night like no other, it is a night where fear lost and hope won, and we and our offspring can never think of ourselves as lying failures ever again .... unless we forget .....
Thank you God! I bless your name for allowing me to see tonight. Thank you America for defeating the fear of our past. Thank you Barack, for your magnificent courage, for your faith, and for restoring our HOPE in freedom

Exorcist Bob Larson To Star In Reality Show On Thursday Nite Before Halloween
Wow, Bob has taken a unique path to ministry for years, but this may be his most non-conforming action yet.
I choose not to judge what he is doing. I know for a fact that dealing with evil spirits CANNOT be scripted. It does not translate well to a 1 hour time frame.
We have participated in deliverances that lasted for more than a full day and others that lasted 10 minutes.
I wish him well

Bless The Lord, Today's economic news is not depressing to me! Even when the American economy has lost almost 3/4 of a million jobs, I am not depressed or worried about my future. I know that there are opportunities for great wealth in the lives of any believer who TRUSTS GOD and who will STEP OUT ON FAITH. Have you read the ebook "20 Ways To Make $100 Per Day Online?" http://1000churches.org/ourchoice/20ways.html I've had dozens of beginners ask me lately, where should they start, to make money online. There IS so much information out there and so many choices. Unfortunately, much of it is bogus and unreliable. I tell them ALL to begin with the ebook "20 Ways To Make $100 Per Day Online." With a title like that, rather than "$1000 Per Day Online" can you tell that it's NOT filled with hype?

WHAT ABOUT THE ECONOMY
------------------------------------
If you have been concerned about how to prepare for the financial problems we are experiencing, do not despair!!
God is always going to provide for his people and he will bless what we put our hands to. He has already established plans for our success and to bring us to HIS expected end.
STAY FAITHFUL IN YOUR LIVING & GIVING
I know most of you already know how to deal with setbacks and economic challenges. However, here is a 5 step reminder of how believers should walk through a valley
- Don't loose your focus. Keep your mind on the
Lord, not on your challenges. Do Not Be Afraid!
- Pray continually and give thanks for your provision
and for your victory - in advance
- Don't eat your seed plant it! Plant your life and
the money you do have into good land to recieve a good crop. Don't try to find the bless time or season to plant, just plant continually
- Develop a plan for your money & verify where
it is going. If you fail to develop your plan you are planning to fail.
- Look for ways to generate more income by
solving problems for other people. Don't just give away the solution, allow others to bless you financially for your efforts.
WE MUST PUT OUR HANDS TO WORK
I believe that there are tremendous opportunities for income right here on the internet. This income could produce the seed you will use to bring forth your destiny.
The key thing is that you must:
- Believe that God wants to see you prosper
- Believe that YOU can win
- Invest in your own success - Time and Money
Here are 5 training resources I have used for generating extra income from working online.

Christian Living - Is There Biblical Support For The Law Of Attraction
There was once a great theologian that said, "If you believe you can, or believe you can't, you are right".
Who was that great theologian, you may ask? It was none other that the founder of the Ford Motor Company, Henry Ford.
I don't know anything else that he said which reflected his theological understanding, but this statement was profound. It reflects a plain talking explanation of the Law of Attraction.
The Law of Attraction traces it's roots to Quantum Physics. Scientifically, the Law Of Attraction states that mental energy will attract like energy and manifest the objects of mental concentration.
Many people, who dislike the thought of God controlling their lives, have turned the truths within the Law Of Attraction into an idolatry to the mind of man. They believe that through their own force of will that they can create a reality apart from God.

In this bizarro world, they themselves rule as God. They go so far as to defy God for their own lusts and desires. This mis-use and misunderstanding of the Law of Attraction is found in writings like "The Secret" which was heavily publicized by Oprah Winfrey.
Nonetheless, even when a law is perverted for the wrong use, the truth and nature of the original purpose and correct use of the law, will still stand. The truth of the law of physics which governs the discharge of energy when atoms are split, is not lessened when atoms are split for weapons and more true when used for nuclear energy.
No, the truth remains true even when it is misused. So it is with the Law of Attraction.
I believe that the Law of Attraction truly has it's roots in Biblical teaching which outlines the strength of a child of God to bring forth supply into his or her life.
The bible clearly states there is unlimited peace and supply available to those who will keep their minds focused on Him.
Matthew 6:33 tells us that the formula required to eradicate our needs is that we do two distinct things. The first, is that we live for Him. The second, is that we make the Kingdom of God our PRIMARY concern. In other words the Kingdom of God should be the focus of our thinking. The result is a promise that ALL our NEEDS would be met.
Christians must be sure to include and apply The God Factor to anything and everything they do. The Law of Attraction will work. But at all times we must include God in every application.

Christian Living: Something Special
Bishop James I Feel God Brown
I have always been a coffee drinker since that earliest time that I can remember. My grandmother would put a little of her coffee in a saucer, mix it with more milk and sugar than she used, and allow me to sip from the saucer. That simple pleasure is an illustration of one of the thousands and thousands of ways my grandmother would show her unending love for her only grandchild.
However, this story is really not about my grandmother. No, this story is about doing something special for yourself. Although, my love of coffee was clearly formed in the center of Granny’s lap, I want to talk about the day I did something special for myself. Almost a year ago I found myself in the coffee aisle of our local supermarket.
I have always liked the smell of fresh ground coffee beans that would flow from that aisle. But I did not like the idea of grinding my own beans in the store only to let them set on the cabinet at home to wait for the trip to the coffee maker. On this historic day I decided to take the plunge. Even though my money was tight, I splurged the $6.00 for a home coffee grinder.

Dr. Dobson Does Not Speak For Me
This week Dr. James Dobson, a man that I have greatly admired over the years, apparently had a bad day or simply became entangled in the heat of politics to the detriment of his rationality. He assailed Barak Obama on his radio broadcast, denouncing his Christian conversion, as well as, his understanding of the constitution. Review his comments HERE
In June 2006 Mr. Obama gave a speach specifing his spiritual position and outlook. It was not lunatic or the words of a close closet muslim. Although I may not agree with his theology in total, I do not find his positions anti-christian or athiestic. Here is the speach.
I was thrilled when Roland Martin of CNN posted a response from a Bush confidant, Barak supporter, and officiant at the wedding of First Daughter Jenna, Pastor Kirbyjon Caldwell of Houston. This response gave a rational and on-point refutation of the comments of Mr. Dobson. I have included Rev. Caldwell's letter below.
Mr. Martin's post also included a link to a online petition decrying Dr. Dobson's statement that includes a petition with comments where you can express you disagreement with Dr. Dobsons position. The website is http://jamesdobsondoesntspeakforme.com/ and I urge you to post and make a comment about this issue.
Here is a copy of my comment on that website:
I was quite taken aback by Dr. Dobson's statement and rancor. As much as I appreciate his books and commentary, on this issue he is way off the mark.
I support Mr. Obama and look forward to change, any change!! For years I was a black Ronald Reagan republican. I even served as a Republican precinct chairman. So I do not support Sen. Obama lightly.
But I believe in the sincerity of his conversion. I also believe that he has a firm grip regarding the constitution and it's application.
I may not agree with him on EVERY issue. But he is my choice and the choice of many other bible thumpin, sin hatin, blood bought believers as our choice (led of the Holy Spirit) for President of these United States of America
In Him,
JMb <><
